Our aim is to add quality to the Festival by proving the quality of your wines. Therefore each wine producer can register wines presented at the Festival for wine evaluations.

The expert evaluation is an important part of the Festival. The expert evaluation, based on standard rules and guidelines, takes place no later than two days before the beginning of the Festival. The announcement of the results and presentation of awards is scheduled during the evening event of the first Festival day.
The expert evaluation took place on 17 November 2009 in Hotel Slon.
Media Bakhos is a traditional evaluation of the festival wine samples by the media. The winners are known during the evening event of the first Festival day and get full attention of the media. This media evaluation of wines is based on the aesthetic evaluation of their quality or hedonistic evaluation of wine pleasures. It is a new, innovative and exciting aspect of the wine evaluation, divided into three categories:
- Media Bakhos for the most pleasing wine
- Media Bakhos for rising star
- Media Bakhos for special achievements
The media evaluation took place on 16 November 2009 in Hotel Slon.
The most pleasing wine according to the visitors is a name used for the third type of the festival evaluation. Visitors are welcome to decide what they like the most among the 11 best festival wine samples according to the opinion of the expert commission and the media The evaluation takes place at exhibition stands and during organized tastings. There is no need to register for this evaluation. The announcement of the results and presentation of awards takes place at the end of the Festival.
Registration fee for each wine sample for evaluation:
60 € + VAT.
There is no registration fee for entering the expert evaluation with one wine sample as well as the competition for the best wine according to the visitors.
