The idea behind the Ljubljana Wine Route is to gather lovers of good wine, delicious food and good entertainment together with selected wine producers, representatives of catering industry and other providers of culinary delights on the banks of the Ljubljanica River.

The event is organized for Slovenian as well as foreign guests who are willing and eager to taste Slovenian wines and culinary delights. The event presents Ljubljana as the capital of the wine-growing country of Slovenia. Wine producers and representatives of catering industry show that Slovenia can be proud of its exquisite wines and delicious food.
